Chris McElwee founded Michael’s Way in 2002 to honor his brother, Michael, who passed away due to leukemia. Michael’s Way supports families that have children with cancer. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the intensive treatment regimen frequently requires a parent’s full-time attention. In many cases, a parent will find it impossible to continue to work while their child is being treated. Michael’s Way will step in and assist with their non-medical bills so they can focus on saving their child’s life.
