I LIKE that IFCA was created to help signatory contractors with bonding, legislative pursuits that have a strong focus on helping contractors get paid or to reduce risk, negotiate local collective bargaining agreements, offer safety services, marketing (thanks Barb) and much much more. We're in partnership with three unions (the carpenters, the IUPAT and the Laborers). They are our human resource department helping IFCA members hire qualified, professional construction personnel that have been trained, have I-9s and insurance. Our construction professionals understand what to do to work safely and to keep a job on track (this creates a lot of LIKE on the job). At IFCA, we enjoy social activities too. I personally LIKE the annual Industry Golf Outing where I connect with many industry guests that have become friends; not to mention, playing golf with my usual team - Heartwood (boy do I LOVE them).
In addition, I LIKE/LOVE that IFCA is an affiliate member to AWCI, FCA and SWACCA -- resources that help our members stay informed over what's going on in construction nationally, showcasing new product-lines at trade shows, publications to help understand technical "stuff," monthly safety calls and the introduction to keynote speakers that offer up what we need to know about a financial forecast or far out technology changes! And yes, we have lobbyists too that visit the hill on a regular basis.
I also really LIKE people ... my BOD and association members (i.e., Tom - ha ha), my president (Evan), accountants (Mark), lawyers (Mike and Larry), lobbyists (Mike ... different from legal), all of my affiliate charter chapter friends from across the country (especially Dan) and all of our industry suppliers, manufacturers and union representatives (too many to list) !!!
There's sooooo much to liiiiikkkkkeee/looooovvveeee about IFCA ... right !?!!? Happy Valentine's Day to my members !!!
